This weekend provided lovely weather in Manly, with warm summer temperatures perfect for training!
My focus this month is starts - the aim is to improve my boat handling skills and manoeuvres on the line, accelerations to the line and perfecting my time on distance.
Breaking down racing into bite size steps to practise, is an excellent way to improve your overall sailing. I find this process approach to training really helpful in the current environment where not much else feels normal. Like anything, the more you practise, the better you get and this improves your confidence. I think confidence is essential to start well.
